I'm researching Cornelius Chatterton who at one time lived in Saratoga Co. He had at least 2 son's David & Peter that were born in Saratoga Co., NY before the two son's moved to Fulton Co., NY (born abt 1804 & abt 1812 respectively). One sister's name was Sarah. Do we have any connections???

Hi Peggy,
Sorry for not writing sooner, the only excuse I have is I have
been very busy.
But anyway, I have found our elusive grandmother, I mean
the one who was married to Cornelius Chatterton, I found her
in another line(Langmaid) her maiden name was Sarah Requa
and she was born in 1775, no idea where yet, but I will keep
digging, as far as Rachael Jane, still no results there, I haven't
heard back from the person in Saratoga County, who is
going to research it for me.
Anything new from your end? I saw your message about
some new information you had.

Yes, we are indeed related!! I would love any information regarding the Chatterton line. My grandfather, John William Chatterton died in 1989 so I have very limited information. I know my grandmother has photos of Grover Cleveland Chatterton and I would love to share any information I have with you. My grandfather lived with his oldest brother Grover Winward Chatterton from his early teens on and was basically raised by Grover and his wife. Let me know what I can offer! I will look through the old family photos this weekend when I am up at my grandmother's!-Jill, maxxbutton(a)aol.com

I am also related to Joseph Chatterton and Elizabeth Maria Stones. In fact, I think my sister is currently living in the house they lived in when they came to Franklin. I don't believe I have any more information than what is currently on the pedigree charts in this web site--I'm assuming you have looked there--but I do have a history of Joseph and Elizabeth and maybe a picture or 2. How about you?
I then decend from Wallace Chatterton so it looks like my great grandfather is your G? father's brother.
