I have only been able to go back to my grgrandfather, Isaac who lived in
NC, Caswel County, we think. He married a full blooded Cherokee
Indian, for which his father disinherited him. The first mention I can
find of him is in the 1850
Wilson County, TN census. He is listed with a second and younger wife
and his children, all of wom are children of the first and Indian wife.
He married the second wife who was the daughter of a neighbor, and was
also a neighbor in NC.
He later moved to Nashville and lived with his son, My grandfather,
William. I do not know when he died or where he is buried.
I would say that our lines are not the same, unless it was way back in
the late 1700s.
