According to "The Hull Family in America" (and all other references currently at my disposal), no Rebina Hull fits anywhere near the profile. Since she was about 38 years old at the time of their marriage, I feel there is a good chance that she was previously married and that "Hull" was her married name, not her maiden name.

Moses Hull: born 23 Apr 1737 in Killingworth, Connecticut to Lemuel and Elizabeth (Earl) Hull. I have not been able to find a date of death for Moses Hull.
Rebina Chatfield: born 4 Apr 1742 in Killingworth to Josiah/Jonah and Mary (Hull) Chatfield. Again, I have not been able to find a date of death for Rebina Hull.
Moses and Rebina were married 25 Dec 1760 in Killingworth, and, according to "The Hull Family In America", they had 4 children between 1761 and 1769.
Part 2 of the saga:
Benjamin Post: born about 1741, probably in Saybrook, Connecticut to Benjamin and Mary (Colt/Coult) Post.
Benjamin resided in Westbrook, Connecticut and married (first) Deborah Chapman, who died in 1775.
Benjamin married (second) Rebina Hull on 18 Apr 1776 in Killingworth. According to her death record, this Rebina was born about 1738. She became my 4g-grandmother. According to "The Hull Family in America" (and all other references currently at my disposal), no Rebina Hull fits anywhere near the profile. Since she was about 38 years old at the time of their marriage, I feel there is a good chance that she was previously married and that "Hull" was her married name, not her maiden name.
My contention is that Moses Hull died at some time between 1769 and 1775 and that his widow married my 4g-grandfather.
I would love to find out I am descended from the Chatfield line! Can anyone help me out, here?
