Dena,
I don't recognize any of your names, but I am descended from Chatfields
from Sussex, England. They came to America with William Penn and settled
first in Pennsylvania. My ancestor was Miriam Chatfield.
Have you ever heard of Chatfields being Indian? I had our mtDNA done and
they told us that we are Indian. If Miriam was from Sussex, England, I'm not
sure how the Indian blood comes in. I don't know any of my Chatfield
relatives.
Lynda

I am trying to trace back my family history and I'm not getting anywhere.
My grandfather is: John Chatfield, I don't know him, but I believe he would have been born in the 1930's, possibly in OH.
He married my grandmother: Thelma Viola Long
They had 4 daughters: Donna, Nancy, Linda, and Harriet
My mother is Donna. I also have 2 younger brothers, Steven Paul, and James Michael.
Nancy's children: Tara, John, Walter, Antoinette
Linda's children: Stacy, David, Jason, Tiffany
Harriet's children: Joseph, Bobby, Bo Jean
We children have children of our own now, but I'm not so concerned with going "forward" in this search. I want to go "backwards" to find out who came before my grandfather.
Hopefully someone will recognize some of these names and be able to help me find more information on my family.
Thank you,
Dena Chatfield
