There is an Eliza Chatfield 1847-1901 buried in Fairplains Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan. I was interested because I think she's connected to my Simons line. I didn't see any other Chatfield with her. Do these dates fit for your Eliza?
Hi Brian,
I descend from Thomas Chatfield born 1450 in Sussex but could not find any of
your names with
birth dates in my file. The only Lavinia Chatfield I have was born in 1852
and her father was Asa Chatfield. We may link somewhere.

Hello all,
The earliest Chatfiled I have found on my tree is John Chatfield b 1620
Cuckfield Marr Jane b122 Cuckfield in 1648 at Cuckfield. I believ I am
descended from their eldest son Thomas b 1650 who married Sarah Bray b 1670
Balcon Sussex on June 22nd 1693 and so on down to my grandmother Lavinia
Chatfield. G;lad to compare notes with anyone,

Noel, sorry to take so long to respond.
It is possible that some of my Chatfields may link in as some came from
around the Chichester area. I'd love to have a copy of your latest gedcom
file, it just might fill in some gaps.
Thanks
Jacqui Ward

Hi group,
My Chatfield family are mainly from the West Sussex area in England, in particular Appledram, near Chichester.
They came out to Australia in 1839 some stayed there and others came on over to New Zealand.
Have quite a bit of information but always glad to exchange infomation.

Hi Noel,
My ancestors come from North Mundum, Pagham,
and Chichester in Sussex. The oldest one is Thomas Chatfield, born 1450. I
now have 20 generations of his descendants. If I sent you my
latest gedcom file, do you think you might link into
my family? If you are using genealogy software, a
gedcom file will import into any program.
Let me know if you want the gedcom file and I will
attach it to an email to you.
Thanks for contacting me,
