I am researching the Chatfield Family and have run across a puzzle. I am hoping that someone out there can help. I am having trouble figuring out who Esther and Ann's Parents were! I have found two different sets of parents for them.
Gene Pool Records:
Esther Chatfield Birth: 9 March 1724-- Middlesex, Killingworth, CT
Parents: John Chatfield, Abigail Arnell
Esther Chatfield Birth: 9 March 1724-- , Killingworth, CT
Death: 15 October 1817 -- Haddam, CT Spouse: Gideon Kelsey
Parents: George Chatfield, Esther Parks
Ann Chatfield Birth: 1 April 1727-- Middlesex, Killingworth, CT
Spouse: Abner Jonah Kelsey Parents: John Chatfield, Abigail Arnell
Ann Chatfield Birth: 1726-- , Killingsworth, CT
Death: 5 January 1781 -- Freetown, Courtland, NY Spouse: Abner Kelsey
Parents: George Chatfield, Esther Parks
As you can see the birthdates of Esther are the same and the husband of Ann's are the same. I am hoping that someone will help me straighten this out. I will appreciate anything that will help figure out this mess. Crossing my fingers that someone out there can help!
Thanks for your time and attention to this matter and Happy Researching to all of you,
Donna Jo in Colorado

Isaac's daughter Huldah married William Palmer Lake. Their daugher Harriet married Stillman Cady Lee. They were grandparents to my grandmother, Winnie Vernette Bryan. I have a photo of Hulda, and an 1845 Hymn book, with the hand written names of Sabea Beebe Chatfield, Huldah Chatfield and Harriett Lake Lee. I also have old letters written to Isaac from his son John who was living in the Oregon Territory in 1854 and was going to California gold fields. I am searching for more information on John. I think perhaps he went to Montana. What is your connection to Huldah?
