Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Probably not what your looking for, but my g grandfather John Hunter
Chatfield was living in Arlington, a few miles from Hailsham about this
time.
His mother was Mary Chatfield, but at this time she had the married name of
Levett
Gavin Chatfield

Hello,
I am trying to find a Nancy Miller who married Stephen Chatfield in 1849,
Lawrence Co. Ohio, Elizabeth Twp., or Perry Twp. This was Stephen's second
wife. I would like to know who her parents were in Lawrence Co., Ohio.
Sincerely, Nancy ---- flynfrog(a)flash.net

Hi everybody,
I am looking for information about Annie Laurie Chatfield, born October 19,
1889 in Otero County, New Mexico. Her parents: Alfred Ameria Chatfield and
Frances Lavina Rouse. She married Andrew Jackson Hunt November 7, 1906 in
Hillsboro, New Mexico. I have some information for her family, but looking
for siblings and descendants. Have very little on Andrew Hunt.

Hello,
It's the first of the month, and time for another modified ROLL CALL...The
topic for March is "Recent Research Efforts", so please apply the
'Who-What-When-Where' guidelines, and tell us something about your current
interests. Be sure to put your own words in the subject line instead of just
'roll call'.
There is a new service at RootsWeb called 'Password Central' that I think
you'll find interesting. You can now go to one place and request the names of
all the RootsWeb lists you belong to, and in which mode you're subscribed,
give you your passwords and account names, and the names of any lists you
admin.
They will be e-mailed to you in a few minutes, and only you can receive them.
You can print out the results to save, but you may also go back any time to
recheck your information.
Here's Password Central: http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com
I'm also including, below, a notice regarding Rootsweb's excellent 'Guide to
Tracing Family Trees', a set of 26 interactive topics that will be
interesting and informative to beginners as well as those who have been at
this awhile....8-)
Thanks,
LaRae
