This list has been really quite. Is it still in existance?
I am searching for descendants of Susan CHATFIELD and William RICHARDSON
married in Bibb Co, GA in 1827. By 1860 they were in Clay Co, GA where they
spent the rest of their lives.
I need to find proof that my Eliza J RICHARDSON that married Zebedee R JONES
is their daughter. Ages match, locations match and marriage certificate
shows middle initial J and the Richardson/Chatfield Bible lists Eliza as
Eliza Josephine. I know if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it
probably is a duck, but....
Any help or hints will be appreciated.

Christopher Otho is my grandfather. I have had no luck finding my
Chatfield's in England. There was a Nicholas Chatfield that came the same
year and settled in Orange county ,NY. His wife Susanna and 5 children came
a month or two later and came from Seven Oaks, Kent. Thomas, Ann, Mary &
Walter came in Nov of that year 1834. Would like to find someone who is
researching the Nicholas Chatfield family as it may be a clue to mine. So
far my Chatfield family does not show up in Seven Oaks records. Family
tradition says Walter's parents were William Chatfield & Ann Simms.
Walter's father was listed as Thomas on passenger list. Believe Ann married
Thomas Harding in Dupage, IL in 1841 and went to Rock Island. Still working
on this.

Hello CHATFIELD Cousins,
Our family mailing list has grown considerably since it began last year, and
many on the list are new subscribers with family information that may be just
what someone else needs. Sooo, let's start a modified ROLL CALL that will
get the ball rolling...
Rather than post your entire CHATFIELD family from beginning to end, let's
call for your earliest 3 or 4 generations, or any other 3 or 4 generations
along the line you choose. Be sure to include any full names, dates, and
locations you may have. Be respectful of living persons, however, and do not
share dates for them. That should give enough information to find a
long-lost cousin in the group, and it will certainly add valuable lineage
material to the searchable archives....8-)
Good luck, everyone!
