I would be more than delighted...roscius01(a)yahoo.com.
Uncle Dan is fascinating to all of us Yanks because we see him as kind of a celebrity. In addition, I have read Charlie Chater's autobiography"The Spice of Life", and he has quite a lot to say about everything and everybody. Apparently, Dan was a founding force in the Labour party? I'm just thirsty for more and more knowledge I guess. Thanks in advance for anything you can add.
Patrick

Will fill you in on Dan at some stage - he was a Labour MP at one point in his life. Can I get in touch with you via email - it's more private. I'll have to look up all my info again - haven't done any of this for a long time, and the memory is getting worse with age!!

I am of The Canadian lot, yes, although they left Canada about 1899 to settle in Englewood CO USA. Could you tell me a bit about Dan? He seems very interesting, and a bit of a celeb. Also, Charlie was fascinating. We have in our possession an autobiography that he wrote called, "The Spice of Life" and it's a ripping good yarn to say the least!

Hi! Just popped back to this - haven't been doing much FH lately. Very confusing with so many Henry Thomas's and Thomas Henry's isn't it?
I have also heard a lot about Charlie - the family black sheep I have been led to believe! He was my great grandfather Daniel's younger brother. Are you one of the Canadian lot then?
