Hi Geoff
My Chasmar link is John Thomas Chasmar, son of George Chasmar and Sarah Ann Burt, so he must be George Frederick's brother.
I have emailed you direct
Margaret

Hi Margaret
Sorry I'm a bit late in replying but I've recently done a bit of research linking in my son-in-law's family (it'll give my grandchildren a better all round knowledge of their ancestry) and I've added a few Chasmars from Woodchurch to the tree.
It's a bit of a side branch but Agnes Carter, the sister of Matilda Carter (the direct line), married a George Frederick Chasmar b abt 1850 the son of George Chasmar b 1815 and Sarah Ann Burt.
It looks like this is the same family, which line are you researching and what relation are you to the Chasmar family. Maybe we can help one another with a bit of information.
By the way my s-i-l's relations on his father's side were all from that area (Tenterden, Benenden, Woodchurch, etc).
Regards
Geoff
