Hi - Does anyone have knowledge of some Chase/Parker/Rogers family research that was done by a Mr. Darling? This could have some info that would help me a lot. I would guess he was researching in the 1930's. Thanks for any suggestions or help, Phyl in Reno
Trying AGAIN........! I see the lst message I sent out somehow had quite a
bit left out fr. c & pasting. Hope this makes sense below. There are also
some Chases that I don't know who may relate to someone.........like Joseph
Chase of Oswego. Seems like someone was looking for a Joseph but maybe of
Otsego ? sp. Others in the Quaker Meeting Mins. that I don't know but may
relate to someone.

In re: Jeffrey Chase's Chace/Chase Marriages in RI:
Are there any more? I am glad to these as I am researching Chase ancestry in Rhode Island.
Louisa S. Chase m. Mowry B. Alger, 12 Apr 1851, Burrillville, RI. Louisa, b. 1 Mar 1825, Coventry, RI ?, dau. of Josiah & Charity (Fuller) Chase, of Uxbridge, Worcester Co., MA. Sister Betsy, b. 8 Jan 1827, Uxbridge.
I am always looking for further documentation of these facts. Please do send along anything further on Chases of RI. Thank you.

Hi All,
This info is from Eliza Starbuck Barney Nantucket Historical Record. However, I believe she has the wrong Benjamin Chase Sr. as he m. Mehitable Thurston who was supposedly her 4th husband. She has him m. to Margaret Gardner as sons Benj6 and Cornelius Chase show Benj 5 Chase and Margaret Gardner as parents. She gives no birth date for the Chase who m. Margaret Gardner..........
HERE'S The Chatham/Hudson info: Note that it mentions Mehitable Chases death date & age. I have left the rest in in case someone else can use some of the info. Also note that she had Cornelius's w. Mary Swain as dt. of Lydia Barnard.......while info fr. Lonnie Chase says Lydia Canaan as does the Chatham Quaker recs. Could she have lst been m. to a Canaan bef. Cornelius Chase or is this just an error.
Also mentions a Joseph Chase/Oswego, etc.

Here I'm a bit confused. I have no Ruth Chase who looks like she has a dt. Judith, but the Mary, Susan & Phebe Ann are children of Lydia Barnard Chase who had a dt. I am re-sending this with a subject line. I didn't realize I left it out and
the post looked like a virus infected message. Sorry!
Mary
Dear CHASE listers:
I am looking for information on William CHASE of Martinsburg, Lewis County
and his progeny, namely one Kent J. CHASE. William purportedly owned a
drugstore on "Doig Corner" around 1850 and then moved to Rome NY before 1860.
The federal census for 1850 has him in Martinsburg, and then 1860 has him in
Rome. He is gone by the 1870 census, presumably dead. His wife Harriet moved
to Ohio.
His children, I THINK, are Kent, Edward, and Mary.
OR, they could have been the children of his brother, Morris CHASE, who was
an insurance agent in Lowville. The children seem to bop back and forth on
the censuses. Kent is in Ohio with Harriet in 1870.
Kent J. Chase married Mary PHALON of Lowville sometime between 1871 and 1880.
If anyone has any info on these individuals I would be greatful. I do have
scattered info on Mary PHALON CHASE and what happened to her progeny, which
is rather interesting.

Hi Listers:
ALOT of Chase info here. Sure hope someone ties into this family.
I'm getting together a long email mainly as a reply to Jeffrey Chase, and it may be of interest to Barry Price and Gary Salstrom as we share much of the same genealogy. Am sending it to the list per chance someone else ties in along the way. As you will see, I've been lucky to find genealogies that are already done....... actually including my Chase ancestors. The work comes when trying to find ties thru the Chases. It just seems unending but I sure can't complain...... I have been very lucky ......so far..........to tie into extremely well researched families.
As always, really hope it will help someone else........!
