This is a War Document from Stratham, NH with the Dudleys,Chases and Pipers

page 10-14 has most of them together.
Worth keeping .
HAve seen evn more on usgenweb. Also a article on Deacon Dudley Chase and
wife being very powerful influence on the township.

This being a not too common name, I can't help but feel that there is a
connection back there somewhere to my Dudleys. I have an uncle George Dudley
CHASE, b:5 Feb 1892, who married Marjorie C. Scribner, 30 Aug 1916. He was
my father's older brother. Also have a great uncle George Dudley CHASE, no
dates, who married Frances MOORE. No knowledge of children but I am
searching. And I have a brother whose middle name is Dudley. Why ?? My
dad always referred to "Uncle Dud" with affection.
Great uncle Geo. Dudley was the son of Christopher Columbus Chase who
lived in McIndoe Falls, VT, Born in Bath, NH.
And thank you Harriet for all that info on some other CHASE lines.

I'm researching my Turk family in NY State and this leads me to the Chase
surname mailing list.
My great-aunt is Nancy D. Chase (nee Turk). She is the dtr. of George & Rose
(nee Dutcher) Turk. I have an obit for Nancy D. Chase from Oct. 1976, she
was 95 when she died in Binghamton. She is survived by a son, George Chase
of Binghamton, 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren & 12
gg-grandchildren. She is also survived by her last living sibling, Orphie
Turk Nathans. Nancy D. Chase is buried in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
Many members of the Turk family are buried in that cemetery. My grandmother
is Mae B. Turk Bergman and is also the sister of Nancy D. Chase. Mae was
born 1900 and died in 1946 in Binghamton from cancer. She left her husband,
Percy S. Bergman and 3 children, Lillian, Edna (my mom) and Leon Bergman.
As I said I'm researching my Turk family surname and getting nowhere until I
saw this obit for Nancy Chase and I'm hoping one of her grandchildren or
great-grandchildren are researching the Turk family and will get in touch
with me.

one
NOW please. The amount of Virus going around are higher then I've seen
in
a long time. Also the Viruses are getting smarter I've watched while my
husband (computer tech) clean 4 computers in the last couple of weeks
with
viruses, the viruses in 2 rewrote things in the bio's making it harder
to
clean one he had to wipe the whole hard drive clean, one more had a
Trojan
that rewrote itself everytime it was booted. So the average person will
not be able to rid their computer of the viruses and will have to take
it to a
professional to clean it.
The best thing to do is don't open any attachments and invest in a Virus
program it's well worth the money and keep it active at all times.

Hello all:
This is your Chase Family web host advising you about a new virus that was
just discovered July 17th.
It is called the SirCam virus and has some devastating effects on your
computer and email. Once you have opeend an attachment, this virus will
send portions of your personal files located in MY DOCUMENTS and disperse it
with another attachment containing the virus.
You can read about the virus here.
http://antivirus.about.com/library/weekly/aa072301a.htm?PM=n3072401b
There is also an immediate free fix that can be found here:
http://antivirus.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/FixSirc.com
Please DO NOT OPEN ANY ATTACHMENTS from ANYONE without having a virus
protection program on your computer. The virus/worm will use your friends'
address book so that it looks as though it is coming from a trusted source.
If you have InoculateIT which I recommended as a free virus program last
year, you may need to update it. I received a copy of the virus from a
friend and InoculateIT destroyed it immediately.

[MAESSEX] MERRILL Family Bible
Date :
Mon, 23 Jul 2001 11:21:17 -0700
I've "rescued" an old bible which once belonged to the MERRILL Family.
Included in the bible are the following items:
#1 - Haverhill Massachusetts Public Library Card for Carrie A. MERRILL
issued in 1876 or 1877
#2 - Needlepoint bookmark w/satin ribbon "God is Love"
#3 - Needlepoint bookmark "The Lord is My Shepherd"
#4 - Constitution and By-Laws for the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church of
Haverhill, Mass. dated 4 March 1877
#5 - January 1906 Calendar page including scripture references compliments
of the Gospel Trumpet Co. of Moundsville, WV
#6 - Lithograph of "The Cottage Door" by F. Moras
The bibles family record has only two entries, they are:
Births - Everett born Mar 26th 1879
Marriages - Married Dec 31st 1877
This is a beautiful old bible full of great illustrations. I'm hoping to
locate this MERRILL Family so that the bible can be returned to its rightful
place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who
might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
