I do not have Elkanah in my line, but am interested in what you found on the

ALL, and particularly Matt Chase
I have added the CHASE Books page and also the list of those volunteering
to do "Look-ups".
In my haste I have made a small mistake that has left the page with a garish
yellow background
and no Ivy leave border. It looked Ok before I uploaded it and I will put
it right soon.
The data-base has also been updated with Kimberley's family.
On receiving her gedcom I realised I may have seriously underestimated the
abilities of many of you
inasmuch that Kimberley only sent me the section of her family tree that was
NOT already included on the Chase Batabase. This made my job very simple and
the whole process of adding her information was accomplished in less than 10
minutes. No doubt many of you could have done likewisw I just never thought
to ask as I thought it might complicate matters,
MATT, I could really do with another Leaf on the Chase tree. Could you do
the necessary please?,

Hi Chases,
I have a copy of the 1790 census, as printed in the 1913, 1914, and 1915
Chase Chronicles. These lists contain only the surnames Chase and Chace.
They include the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland, Vermont,
Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and 2 names in pennsylvania.
Information given is: state, Town, county, heads of families, free white
males of 16 years or over, free white males under 16 years, free white
females, and all other free persons. A few have slaves listed, but very few
Chases had slaves in New England.
Please remember, I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information given,
but if you would like a look up, send the following information to me:
1. State
2. town and/or county if known
3. Full name of person
Please note: Each name is numbered, if further correspondence is required,
please send the number with the name.
