A Charron was one of the 19 pioneer settlers of "La-Petite Nation", land purchased by Joseph Papineau in 1801-3. I'm trying to find any information on the Charrons in this area in the 1800s. There is a book, Les Defricheaurs de la petite-nation that I would like to obtain copy of. Does anyone have information about Charrons in this area, or access to this book? Thank you, Elaine.
