I have the original Certificate of Marriage for Philippe Charron and Catherine Alice Quesnel dated 12/31/1901. Are there any family members out there that would like this document? They were married in Fitchburg, Mass. Please email me at lbierwagen(a)gmail.com.

My maiden name is Proulx. The Proulx's in my family go back to Jean Preaux who married Marie Fleury. I would be interested in a genealogical chart if you have one or any other information you could provide. My Proulx's are mostly from Quebec Province until about the mid 1800's where they came from Ontario, mainly Sarsfield and Embrun.
Thanks.

Hi Gerald,
This is a old post. I assume you found info by now but, just in case.
According to 1901 census, Godefroy was born on June 15, 1863.
Married Elizabeth Dina Schinck on June 2, 1890
Joseph Godefroy Argard (know as Edgard) born on 12 march 1891.
Marie Dina Florina, born 8 january 1893.
Elizabeth Dina Schinck died on 13 january 1893.
Marie Dina Florina died on 23 february 1893.
Both death dates on tombstone are incorrect (it says they died in 1890 or something).
Godefroy married Lumina Hebert on 14 november 1893. They had 4 children together.
Emile born on 10 december 1896.
Joseph Alfred Henry was born on 14 august 1899
Yvonne Eva (known as Yvonne) born in June 1902 (she married a man called Paul Blais. They moved to California where they ran a shoe store and never had children).
Augste, born September 14, 1904
After Godefroy's death in 1907 at the age of 44 (died of mumps), 4 eldest kids were farmed out to other families with Yvonne going to a convent in Montebello, Quebec. August stayed with his mother and worked all his life to support her. He married Delima Duquette in 1929 and they had 13 children (good little catholics).
I did send a reply to your email to me and made a couple of errors, especially with regards to Elizabeth Dina and Marie Dina. Sorry about that. I was relying on memory.
By the way, my father remembers your great grandfather Emile very well.
Lumina lived the him and his family
