Geoffrey, Iam also researching this family. It is difficult to trace because the spelling changes with each census. Alfred is the son of Edward and Margaret. Albert (dob 1870) married Mary Archambault and Alfred (dob 1865) married Emily Archambault. Virginia Charron Brown was the executrix for the estate of Edith Archambault in 1950.
Edith was a sister of Emily and Mary. The parents of Emily were Peter/Theodile and Julia Mayo. I have further info on these families if you are interested.
To help in your research here are the spellings for each census:
1900 Sharron
1880 Shoran
1870 Sheron
The spelling "Charron" doesn't appear until 1910. It has also been spelled Sheran/Shoram. Alfred lived in St. Albans and Albert lived in Swanton.
