Dear Bill,
I am just starting to do my research in Canada. I have that Noe Charron
married Angelique
Desjardins on 29 Sept 1861 in Alfred, Prescott, Ontario and they were the
parents of
Xavier, Celina, Joseph, Napoleon, Emma, Camille and Delphis. I have Noes
siblings as Paul and
Francois.
Where does Alice Smith come in and which were her children?
I think Noe went by Louis after he came to the United States because
Napoleon on
his Social Security application listed Louis Sharrow and Angelick Gardner as
his parents
and that he was born in Alfred, Prescott, Ontario on 12 Jan 1869.

I do have a Camille Charron baptised May 1st 1874 in Alfred, Ontario, Canada but he is the son of Noe Charron and Angelique Desjardins and not Louis. The English translation of Desjardins would be Gardner. I think we are talking about the same family.
Noe Charron and Angelique Desjardins (who married 29 Sept 1861 in Curran, Ont.) had a son Camille born 20 march 1870 who died 2 years later on Sept 6 1872 in Alfred. They also named their next son Camille baptised May 1st 1874 in Alfred. I never could find him and his family anywhere after probabley because the family moved to the States.
Camille also had brothers: Xavier born 3 July 1862, Joseph 11 Jan 1868, Napoleon in 1868 as well as sisters Celina 23 Feb 1864 and Emma 10 Jun 1872
Is it Louis that died on 17 Octy 1928 or Noe. My information is that Louis is the father of Noé. Louis died in Poltimore, Quebec, Canada on 2 Feb 1898. Louis married twice. Noe, Paul and my ggrandfather François were born to Louis Charron and Josephte Desjardins.
The more I read you the more I think we are cousins.
