I am looiking for any information, or descendents of Laurents and Jakob Charpentier(could have been changed to Carpenter). They became separated from their parents upon landing in NYC, on Oct. l6, l82l. The boys were never found again. The parents, Martin and Margatetha Charpentier settled in Lancaster County, Pa. They eventually changed their name to Charpentier.Thank You, Don Carpenter

I am looking for any info on Martin Charpentier. He was born in Courons, France, in approximately 1776. Does any one know where Courons is. Who were his parents? Who was his first wife? His second wife was Maria Margaretha Werner(Varner). They arrived in NYC on Oct. 16, l82l. Upon landing, they lost Martin's two sons by his first wife. They were never found again. The sons were: Laurents, 17 , and Jakob, 11. I would be very interested in finding any information whatsoever on this family. Thank You, Don Carpenter
