Hi There.
I searched children of george charlton and Ann Robson and was directed to the site geneology.com where there the names of their children and date of birth etc were. All the names were there excluding Hannah and Richard Williamm so with the 2 names omitted ( Hannah and Richard) and the 7 names written there came to 9 in totally.

Hi I am able to assist you with Richard william (1826) and Hannah (1828). Both children were born near Todholes on family farms at Whitlees or Whiskershield. They died young, which may be the probable reason why the family sailed out to NZ, via Australia. I have certain details.
Note unsure where you got the 9 children fron, along with the Richard and Hannah--perhaps you have additional information
If you read my 5 Feb 2000 Post (copy below), you will see where my research interest lies

I am researching the family of George Charl(e)ton, born Todholes, near Elsdon, Northumberland. Born around 1800. Parents: Richard [born around 1769 @Simonburn, died 30 May 1840] and Isabella (Snowden)(daughter of Geo Snowden) (born around 30 January 1771 at Rothbury, died 27 September 1831).
George's siblings were Margaret (born 1793), Thomas (1795), Ann (1797), Richard (1806). William (1809), Peter (1812), and Michael (1815).
George is believed to have married Ann Robson at Whitfield in 1824 and they had two children: Richard william (1826) and Hannah (1828). Both children born near Todholes on family farms at Whitlees or Whiskershield. Family tradition is that George and Ann sailed to New Zealand via Australia on the 'Clyde' in 1836.
George's grandparents are believed to be Thomas Charlton born ?? at Hawkswood /Warkswood?? married 3 Dec 1752 to Mary ? ' died 10 Dec 1788.
At different times names is spelt 'Charlton' while the later spelling is Charleton. Unsure why the 'e' was added--any thoughts?
Any further information much appreciated. Contact Stephen Schollum: s.schollum(a)clear.net.nz
Thanks

In my research George is the son of Richard and Isobella. and was born 1801 and died in Kawhia Harbour 1863. He married Ann Robson in June 1924 and had 9 children. However prior to them emigrating to NZ and settling in Raglan they had 2 other children who were born in England. They were Hannah and Richard William. Ann was pregant at the time they sailed and Margaret was born on board the ship "CLYDE". Nothing is actually known about Hannah and Richard William (regarding why they did not sail) can only speculate as to the times eg perhaps illness. Richard William was born on the 1st May 1824 and Hannah was born on the 12th August 1828 which would make them the oldest of that family as Margaret was born 1834 and the rest of the children 1-2 years apart. The last child John Robson Charlton was born in 1856.

Hi There. Just been reading your post and understand that your line of the charlton clan starts with Thomas. If I am not mistaken Thomas would be one of Richard and Isobella's son's. He was born 18th June 1795 North of Elsdon and died 4th Feb 1878.
I have been trying to research past Richard and trying to find out who his father was and who isobella's parents were.
My father was George Charlton son of Frank and Wairakau Amuketi and Frank was the son of John Robson Charlton and Te Ata Morunga Te Waka who was the son of George Charlton and Ann Robson who was the son of Richard and Isobella Snowdon. Is John Henry Charlton Richards father?? If not do you know who is and who Isabella's Parents were. Cheers
