Seeking Freemire, Freemyer who married Charltons in Washington County, next to Monroe County, Ohio .
David Freemire Freemyer moved to Washington Co OHio in 1810 from NY. When MOnroe Co. was formed he found himself over the line in Jackson twp. Monroe Co. He later moved back over the line and died there about 1834.
I am seeking a Mary Freemyer who married a Ed Charlton in 1875 at Mariett Ohio. This Mary almost has to be the dau. of David Freemyer Sr or his son George Freemyer. Just need the data to tie them to my tree.

My name is Tabitha Michelle Charlton. I have done extensive work on my family tree, however, I seem to be stuck at Abraham Charlton, who is recorded with two different years of birth, many records show his year of birth as Abt. 1730, while many others show it as 1750. I think the records showing his year of birth as 1750 seem more realistic, otherwise he would've been a much older husband/father. Needless to say, I've been stuck here a few years. They were from Virginia. He was married to Elizabeth ______________. One of the possibilities I came across as his father was a man named John and a wife named Elizabeth Robinson. Is there anymore you can tell me about them? I read a little about Captain John Charlton so I would love to know more. I have always heard my family originated from Ireland, yet the name Charlton is allegedly of Welsh decent. So, perhaps the stories were right and we did come to America from Ireland.
