I have had a suspicion that my 2g-grandfather who was John Lynch of Fayette, Pa. had a brother James. There is just too many clues pointing to this fact...yet I cannot say it is so. My John was born abt 1790's or before. He married Hannah Ayres from York, Pa. Some of his relatives went to live in Ohio. Do you have anything? I know it is a shot in the dark, but I would like to at least find out.

Charlton, Green and Jenkins sounds like they could have been from KY.
I'm descended from Eliza Spalding, widow of (William?) Charlton. He was previously married to a Worland. Eliza Spalding Charlton later married George Hite.
Is anyone familiar with this family?

Yes, I am still looking for Dorthy Stai Charlton. She was baptised as Dorthe
Stai. Born at the Stai Main Farm in Stai Norway. They lived at Saeteren Farm
near the Stai Main Farm.
Last record I have is that she attended the funeral for her Sister, Olive
C. Stai on 16 April 1942. She is listed as Mrs. Dorthy Charlton of New
Orleans, LA. along with other sisters and her brother my Grandfather Ole Stai. They
took the last name Stai when they came to America.
I would love to have the information you have. I don't know when she moved
to Louisianna or when she died or where she is buried or if she had children.
But, they settled near Evansville Minnesota. Some moved to the Otter tail
area. And one of her sisters moved to Zumbrota. A few ended up in North Dakota.

Any info you have is appreciated. My Charlton line came from Monroe County, Ohio to Cincinnati. Charles Andrew, son of William George or George William Charlton of Monroe County, came to Cincinnati after the Civil War. He settled near the Ohio River, just off Eastern Avenue. Two of his brothers joined him here (John R. and Edward). Edward moved to Kentucky, but John and Charles stayed. Charles' son Charles Edward was my g-grandfather.
I'm hoping you can tie our two lines together.
Thanks,
Ches
