Just noticed some of the names connected to your Charlton family are similar to mine. My great-grandfather was William Hamilton Charlton. He and his 2nd wife, Anna Foster Worrell had two sons (1) Charles Allen, b. 1868, IA (2) Albert "Nick" and a daughter, Anna Mae. Charles was married to Ethel Jane Portlock in 1894 in Chickasaw Lands (Oklahoma) (my maternal grandparents). Ethel was b. 1880, MO. The family lost contact with Albert "Nick" probably in the 1920s.
Hi,
I am looking for any information on a Thomas Charlton who lived in
Philadelphia in 1922. He was working in a Woolen Mill, and his wife in a
silk stocking factory. His family had been coal miners in Northumberland,
England. Either his wife of his daughter was named Maggie. He had cousins
living in Indiana.
Does anyone know of this person, or know how I could get more information
about him?
Thank you.
Eliz

They do not sound familiar. My Grandfather's brother Earl Charlton (b. abt. 1896) moved from Cincinnati to Warren County. Some of this branch still live near Lebanon.
Our Charles' had middle names Edwin, Randall, Edward and Andrew (dating back to the mid-19th century). All lived in Cincinnati. Charles Andrew moved to Cincinnati from south eastern Ohio after the Civil War.

None of the Charlton names you mentioned are familiar to me. Garfield Charlton was my grandfather. I am not familiar with the other surname you mention, either.
