Has anyone found a Sam Charlton, born in England around 1860? He was living in London in 1896. Possibly his father was Alfred. He is my grandfather. Thank you.
Hi Christine-
I'm you're half-sister, Marline. I was working on my family tree when I saw your message. I will write you at the address you listed in your message.

My husband is also a descendant. His GGrandmother was Mary Ellen Charlton of
W.Va. His Grandfather was William, and his father was Thomas E. Charlton.
That`s about all we know.
I am so glad to see another Charlton from W.Va. We have been searching for
about 3 years. My ggrandmother was Mary Ellen Charlton, my grand father
William charlton and my father Thomas E. Charlton of Moorefield. This is all
the information I have at this time. If anyone would be so kind to share
please e-mail me @ dchar22505(a)aol.com.

I am also a descendant of the Charlton Family of Pa. and also Frederick Co. Md. Among my Charlton information there are several Henry's and also Janes. Seems the name has been repeated each generation and a Thomas Charlton was my 4th GGrandfather. I would be happy to exchange information with you and maybe we can turn over another stone....Thanks! Mary Boswell
I too, am a descendant of a Thomas Charlton of WV., but do not recognize your Thomas. My Thomas came to New Lebanon W.Va. in 1791 from Pennsylvania. He was married to Alice Perry, 1763 in Frederick, Md.
Would like to exchange information and find out if there is a connection. I have a good many other Thomas' also...
Thanks....Mary Boswell
