Thanks for posting my query from Genconnect. I've been going to post to the
list again, but just have not
gotten around to it. After 3 years on the internet, I just don't think
there is another soul searching this
particular line.
Recently I did find out that nearly all of the siblings of my grgrandfather
William Charlton had mostly daughters or children that lived at home and
never married. No wonder I am having such a difficult time finding lost
cousins!

Hello my name is Maree Croxon and my mother and I are researching our
Charlton hertiage.
I live in a country city in NSW Australia, whilst my mother lives in a
coastal town in NSW. I have been trying to help Mum with her research
whilst she is visiting my home.
My Great Great Grandmother was Mary Charlton. She was born in Beddlington
England, on 5 April, 1855, Mother Rachel Auld, and Father Robert Charlton.
Mary came to Australia aboard 'SS CLYDE' in 1880, to marry Peter Garemyn.
Rachel and Robert came out at some later date with the rest of the siblings.
We would love to hear from anyone who would like to contact us.
Maree

HI...........I JUST WISH THAT I COULD MAKE THE CONNECTION FOR A JOHN CHARLTON
WHO WAS BORN IN MONMOUTH, NEWJERSEY ON 12-25-1759. HE IS A STRONG
POSSIBILITY OF BEING ONE OF THE '''LOST ONES''' THAT I CAN NOT FIND ANYWHERE.
HE HAS CLERMONT COUNTY, OHIO FAMILY TIES AND IS BURIED IN A CEMETARY IN
CINCINNATI(ANDERSON TOWNSHIP)OHIO. IT WOULD SURE BE SWEET IF I COULD FIND
HIS PARENTS AND HIS SIBLINGS.
NANCY
I am anxiously waiting for a snail mail letter from a lady who answered one
of my queries but was not on line. She thinks her great grandfather Abner
Charlton was a son of Samuel Charlton of Sumner Co. Tennessee. I have ran
across Abner several times and he is always with my Charltons but I have
never been able to connect him. Who knows this lady may hold the key!

Hello,
It's the first of the month, and time for another modified ROLL CALL...The
topic for March is "Recent Research Efforts", so please apply the
'Who-What-When-Where' guidelines, and tell us something about your current
interests. Be sure to put your own words in the subject line instead of just
'roll call'.
There is a new service at RootsWeb called 'Password Central' that I think
you'll find interesting. You can now go to one place and request the names of
all the RootsWeb lists you belong to, and in which mode you're subscribed,
give you your passwords and account names, and the names of any lists you
admin.
They will be e-mailed to you in a few minutes, and only you can receive them.
You can print out the results to save, but you may also go back any time to
recheck your information.
Here's Password Central: http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.com
I'm also including, below, a notice regarding Rootsweb's excellent 'Guide to
Tracing Family Trees', a set of 26 interactive topics that will be
interesting and informative to beginners as well as those who have been at
this awhile....8-)
