Seeking descendants of Thomas Edward Charlesworth (or Solomon) and Mary Brown Stout. He was a farmer and nurseryman at Churchfields Farm, Basford, Nottingham.
His children included: Ada Alice b1869 Albert Edward b1870, Thomas Arthur b1874, Gertrude Mabel b1877, Hebert b1878, Frederick b1880, Florence Ethel b1881, Amanda b1882, Francis Henry b1886, Henry White b1888 and Sybil Mary b1891.
The family name was changed from Solomon. Thomas father's was Edward White Solomon who seems to have adopted the name Charlesworth from his step-father William Charlesworth (who was in fact born William Charles!) and the family also had a nursery at Scotholme in Basford.
Love to hear from anyone connected or knows any more about the Basford nurseries.
Alison

Hi all,
Don't worry, not another one of my long-winded round-about questions,
this time. But a bit of self-publicising ;)
I've been updating and changing my web-site
(http://www.geocities.com/journeymouse/) recently and decided to change
the way I put my family history online. So far, I have my CHARLESWORTHs
of Bolsover and my BECKs of Newark up. If anyone shares those interests
or is curious, please feel free to have a look. And if you see any
errors, would you please let me know?
I'm also putting on pages of the web-sites that I use for research.
It's a work in progress, as I have other things to do, so I've only got
a few links up. But if anyone would like me to link to them or can
think of links that _must_ go on their, again let me know, please.
Regards,
Jo
PS Apologies for sending multiples if you subscribe to lists that I've
already sent this too.

Don't think I can help much, but is this the Jonathan Charlesworth who married Betty Castle in 1815. I believe their son George married into my family. Where did Jonathan orginate from, do you know?
