Lovely photo :-) I have just uploaded it to the web site

under "Do you recognize these people ?"
Cheers Jane
PS
I was struck by lightening the other day ! I was having trouble with that
Hannah MORRIS: wife of Leonard, father of "my" Harry .. do you think Morris
was her middle name ? Could she be Hannah Morris HERBERT ? there is a
marriage on the FreeBMD Sept. 1895 !!?? and on the 1930's electoral rolls
there is a Hannah Morris and Leonard living at Pot House Lane.
Mind you ! Harry says his father is deceased at his marriage in 1921 !?
Cheers Jane

Hi,
I'm unable to connect my Nathan b ca 1809 to any parents or siblings.
Would appreciate info from anyone who has a Nathan in their line or had
Charlesworth kin residing in Godley, (Chester Co. ?) ca 1840. My Nathan was
in Cattaraugus Co., NY by 1845.
Thanks,
Phyllis D.
Morning folks :-)
With Connie's help I'm trying to sort out the Bolsterstone CHARLESWORTHs at
the moment.
Question
is the Ann HATTERSLEY who married John CHARLESWORTH 1824 at Ecclesfield
the same Ann who was christened at Bolsterstone 1806 (parents Ben and Mary
STEEL)
and the same Ann here on the 1881 census ?
The first 3 grand-children below were all christened at Bolsterstone: father
Henry.
If this is Ann HATTERSLEY it would work out very well 'cos then the dead
Henry would be the 3rd son of John.

A few new marriages at Bolsterstone. the "1" on the right means "multiple
marriage" (was a widow/widower)
28 Nov 1892 SMITH, Eliza WALTON, Ernest Alfred ? ?
04 Nov 1896 MARSDEN, Ambrose HILL, Emma ? 1
17 May 1897 MARSDEN, Ada DYSON, Reggie ? ?
27 May 1897 OWEN, Maria LEWIS, Thomas 1 ?
09 Aug 1897 COOK, Lucy ASKEW, Elijah Edward ? ?
01 Sep 1897 GREEN, William WHITWORTH, Sarah ? 1
16 Oct 1897 BRADWELL, Alfred BREARLEY, Annetta ? ?
04 Dec 1897 HEPWORTH, Frank Sellars CHARLESWORTH, Olive ? ?

27 Dec 1897 FRUDD, Ann BROOKS, John 1 1

The same people with their father's names. In this case "unknown" means the
father's name was blank on the register. The birth date is from the age they
gave. A full date means they were also christened at Bolsterstone. The
number at the end is the marriage number. If there are two numbers it means
the first marriage also took place at Bolsterstone.
