This was forwarded to me from another Genealogy friend of mine. I tried this site and it is wonderful. It's called Multi Gen and it's great. You can search nine (9) sites at
once!
It is the best thing that could have happened to genealogy searching.
Try it out. You'll find it at
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/CACulman/MultiGen.htm
It is always nice to find something that saves you a lot of time.
Kind Regards,
Lola Stevens
Lola,
Thanks for the site! It's great. I have passed it on to another list I'm
on.
I'll post my Charlesworth's maybe tomorrow. Sorry I haven't, but I've been
busy with other things lately.

Oh Lola! How exciting! The area around Sheffield is so lovely too!
Friends of mine and I spent a month all over western Europe four years ago;
and visited up that way, to Nottingham and points beyond.
I'd go back in a heart beat!
My husband will be thrilled to see this new possibility of your Benjamin
maybe being related to his Charlotte CHARLESWORTH. Thank you for
responding! It's been a long day so I'll write again tomorrow.

P.S. BTW, I'd love to share what I have with anyone if it helps!

Hello Carol,
I have a Great Grandfather Benjamin CHARLESWORTH who was from Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. He was born in 1858 the son of Thomas CHARLESWORTH and Charlotte HINCHCLIFFE. Thomas was born in 1829 the son of Joseph CHARLESWORTH. We do not know much about Joseph. We do not know who he was married to or when and only have an approximate birth date of 1800. But we do know they were from Sheffield.
Is there any chance that your CHARLESWORTH born in 1836 could be a brother to my Thomas It is certainly a possibility. Thomas and Charlotte stayed in England because I have their death certificates. My Great Grandfather, Benjamin, left England with his wife and one son in 1888. I would be interested in finding out any details I can about your family. I am going to England and most likely to Sheffield for a Genealogy Get Together for the Yorkshire Genealogy Mailing List this summer. They are having it at York University and calling it Yorksgen 2000. I am getting so excited about going and learning how to do British research and see the areas my Ancestors came from. If you can give me the details of your family, I would be happy to look for them.
Kind Regards,
Lola Stevens

This is my husband's ggg-grandfather and ggg-grandmother. We know they came
to Michigan through Canada and have nothing further back than these people
on those lines.
Does this look familiar to anyone?
Thanks!

My CHARLESWORTH ancestry is-
ELIZA CHARLESWORTH born to WILLIAM and JEMIMA(nee Bunting) CHARLESWORTH
21/3/1855 Bonsall, Dby.
PARENTS were WILLIAM and JEMIMA(nee Bunting) CHARLESWORTH.
WILLIAM CHARLESWORTH born 12/5/1830 Bonsall to JOHN and GRACE(nee
GREEN)CHARLESWORTH. He married JEMIMA BUNTING in Bonsall 5/9/1853.
It is reported that this line of CHARLESWORTHS were from DARLEY DALE but to
date I have not found the birth/baptism of JOHN CHARLESWORTH born C1802.
Any assistance with this family line would be appreciated.
