I was working on going through some papers yesterday, and came across some pictures that my father gave me this past year. At that time we spent considerable time trying to identify the individuals in the pictures. My father's vision is limited by macular degeration, and he is over 90. One of the pictures has about 20 people in it and says 1st Goodyear family reunion 1927. We could figure out about 3. No one in the picture is a young child. All of this is written for one purpose, and that is to say, please, please, please, be sure to get as much identification as you can when you can on old pictures. I actually have another picture that has about 30 people that was taken sometime in the 50's and am beginning to get the individuals identified.

How to explain this, my original address book with all my addresses etc got wiped out, also all of my current holds, along with all the different folders that I had mail in this is what I was able to rescue, so if you have sent me an email about anything and I am not responding, please just send it again and tell me, also let me know what it was in reference to.

I hope someone can help me with this line too, as I lost the notes I had on it. My descent comes from Hans Michael, of course and goes down through John, b.
~1820? in Coon Creek, Pike Co. He m. first ELizabeth Hinkle in 1847 and second, Levisa Chadwell, who had borne him a child almost 30 years before, while he
was m. to his first wife. Can someone please help me place this John Charles in the proper order of descent from Hans Michael? ALso, has anyone determined
where in Germany our immigrant ancestor came from? There seem to be a great many by that name in Wurttenburg, to judge by the IGI's. Many thanks,
Maggie

BlankHi Fellow Researchers:
I really did try to answer posts I received from the list.
My machine had a corrupt registry file and had to be
reformatted and everything reinstalled. Just as I got back up
and running, Rootsweb had a problem. It took a posting
from another list for me to realize I had been unsubbed to
several of my lists. Since resubbing, I've tried several times
to post, but I never received my copy of it.
I just tonight discovered my e-mail had set up as HTML
instead of Plain Text. Rootsweb doesn't like HTML I
found out. Now, hopefully everything will work.
I'm hoping someone on the list can help me. About a year
ago, I somehow goofed (still don't know what happened), but
ended up with some of the kids for George Charles b.1763
and his father Hans Michael Charles b.1730 listed with the
wrong father..
Could someone on the list give me the children who belong
with Michael and the children who belong with George?
Also, a long standing question. Did ANYONE ever find
who the father of Christian Michael was? I know there was
a Christian Michael MALE, but, there also was a Christian
Michael FEMALE because I found the marriage bond in
Rowan Co. NC in 1780.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
Glenna
Searching for info/parents of Thomas Fitzgerald, D Feb 19th, 1815. Thomas
died in Upper Skippack, Montgomery County, PA. The family name was
changed to Charles by his grandson Israel F. Charles B. 6/8/1821. Israel had
1 brother and 1 sister, I do not have their names. They were from the Snyder
County, Freeport/Port Treverton area. I believe there is one Charles left in
Port Treverton. I am interested in anyone who attended the Charles reunions
in the 1960's or 70's held in Port Treverton.
Also looking for Shafer's, Pines, Livingstons of Penn, Pines of Penn, Most
from between Gettysburg and Port Treverton. Also looking for Hendersons of GA
Any information is appreciated
