There are many of us that can trace our lineage back to Charles the Great. My family surname that takes me on that route is my mothers Morris ancestors....the key to the royal ancestors for her is the West Family. Once I get to Lord Delaware and his ancestors I can get Charlemagne three ways. Happy hunting!
Jane

okay, i admitt that i am a newbie, but my genealogy research continues to lead me to charlemagne. i find this inconceivable, but must follow that lead. both paternal parents have mary isham, william randolph, and robert bollin as surnames, so it is everywhere. i don't seem to be able to go beyond these to the royal lineage that all sites suggest. could you, PLEASE, offer some incite for me? i would SO appreciate it. thank you,
kathrine
