Dave,
Yes, that is my grandfather! I actually know very little about him, since he died before I was born. Any information you could give me about his parents or relatives would be great! I met his sister (my great aunt), Gloria, once or twice before she passed away, but I was too young to think to ask questions about my ancestry. I went to Chapleau about 8 years ago to try and find more information, but I didn't have much success.
Anyways, my grandmother's maiden name was Grover. She was of Swedish and Norweigian descent.
I'm very impressed with the Charlebois records you are keeping and posting on this website. It is an amazing effort.

Hi Tamara
Thanks for the information. From what you said, I assume your grandfather was Leo Adelard Charlebois who died February 19, 1964 in Los Angeles. Is this correct?
What was your grandmothers maiden name?

David,
Laurene Charlebois was my grandmother. She was the wife of Leo Charlebois (deceased), who was originally from Chapleau, Ontario, and later moved to Los Angeles. Interestingly, my uncle's name is also David Charlebois.
