Debra, If you haven't checked already, there are 21 Shurette names in the
AOL white pages.
May I have about three or four generations from your tree to see If I can
link to the CHARETTE family. I know you gave me Frederick awhile back.
Didn't connect.

Hello,
Are there any Shurette's out there?
Please let me know as I have been searching for a long time now. Especially
in the midwest region. Thanks! Debra Shurette Lawler

In my long and frustrating search for my LEDUC - DUVAL family, I have found a connection to the CHARETTE'S.
Thomas CHARETTE and his wife Marie-Louise LEDUC lived in Sutton, MA around the turn of the century. (1890's to 1900's)
In the 1900 Census for that town, I find Thomas/Damase (age 51) and his wife Marie (age 40?) living with children listed below.
William - age 16
Georgianna - age 15
Ovila - age 12
Rose - age 10
Louis - age 4
Delina - age 11 months
Also, a boarder named Janvier LEDUC (age 75) who I believe to be Marie-Louise's Father.
I would love to connect with someone researching this family. Perhaps we can help each other.

Thanks for your post Denis, may I ask what makes you believe they went to Vermont and then to New York? I do know that their son Pierre was in New York as he apparently married his wife Mary Tetreault there and had their first son there. Then we believe Pierre & Mary went to Kansas. Any small information you can give me may help me nail this family down. Thanks for your time.

Pierre and Anastasie were married april 22, 1850 in Trois Rivieres
Anastasie's parents: Joseph and Madeleine Robert m; june 22, 1812 Trois Rivieres.
Anastasie was born june 27, 1822 Trois-Rivieres.
I figure they moved to Vermont and possibly later in NY
lost track of them.
As for Pierre don't have his parents in file.

I am trying to find information on the above listed couple? When they were married, who their parents were and mostly who all of their children were. I do know according to the Repertoire des Bapteimes de la Paroisse Immaculie-Conception Vol II it shows they had a son named Pierre b: 12-30-1859. This may be my Pierre but I need more information to confirm that. So I was hoping someone may have all the children for Pierre & Anastasie so I could find where they lived and everything and hope to find my connections. Thank you kindly for your time and help.
