After Ovila's divorce with Odile Tousignant he then lived with Evelyn

and Lapocatiere , Quebec
Ste Famille , Ile Ouelle Quebec and LaRochelle France.
I got mine messed up .My ancestor was Charlotte Charest (Charet Choret) married to Michel Gagnon 15 April 1828. That was a marriage in Kamouraska Q. I believe they lived fin Grand Falls and then back to Van buren and Frenchville region.
My information got messed up and I have to verify dates etc.
So I only have what I tell above.
Charest has possibly a " dit " name . A name for it that does
not spell at all that way & has a different meaning . I would say ay yours was probably one of the Charest spellings tho..
