Hi,
My grandmother's maiden name was Chappell and she was born in the Sennen area. The family moved around, following work into the neighbouring parishes of Sancreed and St Just. I have ammassed quite a bit of information on the Chappell//Chapple families. I have a Jonathan Chappell moving to Morris County, New Jersey about 1899. There may be a connection. You can reach me at webmaster(a)cornwallinfocus.co.uk if you wish.
Regards,
Will Wallis
