Hi,
My husband is a great-great-grandson of William Chapple through Edwin Chapple and Sarah Belle (Taylor) Chapple. I have the biography of William Chapple from Doniphan County.
I have just received handwritten immigration papers concerning a Richard Chapple. This document was written in 1857, and states that Richard is 25 years old, and is a native of England. This was recorded in Doniphan County, KS. I can't seem to place Richard in this family--does anyone have any idea how he connects? I was thinking if he was born around 1832, he could possibly be a brother of William? Obviously this is just an idea, so I'm hoping that someone has information that can help place Richard in this family.
Thanks for any help,
Sincerely,
Pam G.
