Hello Randy Albert Chapple,
At this point I cannot say whether we have any connecting Chapple's.
The only info I have on them I wrote in my first letter - sure wish I
had more to share with you. My Chapple line is a 'block wall', for
sure.
I will keep your info for future reference and definitely get back to
you if I find a connection.
Thank you for all the Chapple names, places, dates, Randy.

Hello Alice,
I'm a real Chapple here (Randy Albert Chapple) and I've actually got
some info to see if you have any real "Chapple" stuff.
William Chapple born in Colyton, Devon 1809-1881ish married #1 Catherine
Woodward (1816-1845) m. 1838 #2 Sarah Woodward #3 Eliza
William & Catherine had at least two pet monsters William Henry Chapple and
Louisa Catherine (1845-1845) in Bridport, Dorset.
William Henry 1844-1924 moved to London late 1840's with father. He married
Catherine Tippins (1846-1867 and had the following (all born in London);
William J. (1869-????)
Arthur (1870-1946)
Charles Frederick (1872-1949)
Clara Florence (1874-????)
Albert George (1877-1950)
Walter H. (probably Henry) (1879-????)
Charlotte (????-????)
Victor (????-????)
We have the Arthur line and the Charles line traced to present day.
Albert George's line probably died out in 1950 upon his death. I don't
think he ever married. The other branches are unknown at present.
I await your reply Randy

Greetings Lyn
Do you have any branches of the family of Joseph
Chapple or other relatives in the St Austell/
St Ewe/ Blazey etc area of Cornwall Period 1800+
I think Joseph died circa 1840's/1850's. His daughter Maria
married William Harris in the 1850's.
regards
Michael Cheeseman

Hello, I am looking for Clarissa Chapel, who was born about 1828 in the
Niagra Falls area of Canada. She was married first to a Daniel Eveland in
Racine County WI in 1846, Simeon van Benshcoten in Racine County in 1851,
then she was married to Levi M Mack in Kewaunee County WI in 1861. They
lived in Kossuth County Iowa, 1864-1870. They appeared in MO in 1870, and
1880, no trace of either of them after that. According to the marriage
record of her and Levi, her parents were Samuel and Mary Chapel. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. I have been at a dead end with her forever.
Thanks for looking,
Regards,
Joanne

Hello Lyn Chapple,
Do you have any Chapple's from New York or California in your database?
My Alfred Chapple was born 6 Oct 1893 in San Gabriel Valley, San
Bernardino County, California and his father
Albert (Adelbert) Chapple was born Apr 1861 in New York; his father, I
believe, was William Chapple/Chappel was born 1834 in Hannibal, Oswego
County, New York. Do not have any generations earlier than William but
was told they came from England.
Would appreciate any info you may have on any of these Chapples'.
Thank you,
Alice

Hi Jackie,
I ahve built up an extensive databse Chapples including large extracts from
the GRO Indexes. I have found the entry for the marriage of your Thomas
Chapple.
It was registered in Brentford in Quarter 1 1913. Groom was Thomas J
CHAPPLE and spouse's surname CARTER. You can order a copy of the marriage
certificate from the local regsitrar with the above information. The GRO
index reference is 3a 95.
The marriage certificate will give you their ages, occupation, residence
and fathers' names and occupation.
I will almost certainly have Thomas's father in my data so if you find out
who he is let me know and I'll see what I have.
My Chapples originated in South Molton, Devon with branches in Cornwall,
South Wales and Michigan, USA
Hope this helps,
Lyn Chapple

Hello,
I was wondering if you have any Chapples from Birmingham, England in your
GRO database (I've done the same thing with STRIDE/STROYD :O-) ).
On the 1881 census she is living with her husband William REEVE and is said
to be
Jane Chappel born abt 1859
on her childs birth certificate she is said to be
Clara Jane Chappell
on her marriage certificate
they wrote Jane Chappell then tried to squish in Clara at the beginning.
her parents are James Chappell and Mary (b. 1826 living with Clara Jane in
the 1881).
Thanks
Joanne

Hi everyone
I am Jackie Chapple, married to Jeff and living in BC Canada. We are both
originally from the UK.
I am just starting to research the Chapple family history so I have very
little information.
This is what I have so far.
Thomas Joseph Chapple married Eliza Ann Carter approx 1918 in London area
UK.
They had 5 children. Thomas Joseph, Marie Edna May, Kathleen, Patrick Arthur
Hurbert (my father-in-law) and Peter Edward Alan.
Patrick and Peter are the only ones, as far as I know, still alive. Peter
married Joan ???? and they had a daughter, Sandra, about 1942.
If anyone has any links with this thread of the Chapples, please let me
know.
Jackie
