Working on the family tree of my grandchildren (mother's
side) with the help of Rootsweb, I have made steady progress
and just this morning an old brick wall was torn down and
I can go back another generation. In the RootsWeb WorldConnect Project under NICKASON submitted by
susanbrocker(a)hotmail.com she has Annie NICKASON
(I had her as Annie NICKERSON) was born 26.Feb.1859
in Pilkington TS., Wellington County, Ontario, Canada.
She was the daughter of George NICKASON and Mitilda (?)
CHAPPLE. I suspect that the first name is really MATILDA,
and you have a daughter Matilda listed in your note. I think
that name and time suggests a match. I would be grateful
if you could confirm this and perhaps give me a bit more
about her parents.
John Merz,
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
