I have a photo of Jimmy Chappell that I found in an antique shop in Washington State. It looks like a graduation picture taken in Spokane, WA.
If anyone is interested in this picture please contact me

Hi Jane. I am not a descendent, but I connect to them somehow obscurely. I must have been looking at the records for some reason when I commented, but right now I can't remember how. I seem, somehow, not to have added them to any file of mine, which often happens when the relationship is really distant. I am guessing that a Chappell somewhere connects to a relative of a Bosley, Malin or Everett, since those are my lines that go back a long way in the U.S. I wish I could remember how!

Chappell in my Chappell line (from Samuel Chappell and Dorothy Laraby) rhymes with apple. I have been in contact with some Chapels who pronounce their name with a long a. Jane Chappell

Hi, I just read your message about Samuel Chappell and Dorothy Laraby. Are you a descendant? I descend from their youngest son Ansel. I still do not know the parents of Samuel nor the parents of Dorothy. I have two family records that start with their marriage in 1775. They had 11 children. There was a different Samuel Chappell who married Dorothy Yeaman. They lived earlier. Jane from MI newjane2011(a)gmail.com

Hi, My great great grandfather was born in Massachusetts but migrated to West Virginia. His name was Henry Chappell. He was born apt 1798. He had a brother name William Chappell who worked on his farm in West Virgina. All I know is their parents were foreign born.
I have traced Henry Chappell from the early 1830s. Unable to find his exact birthplace. Not sure if you are still on ancestry.com
