Hi,
I'm looking for any information on Chappells in Rhode Island especially a Holley Chappell. I am a Chappell descended from Thomas Chappell of London (1558). My family tree has 3 Holleys....all spelled differently but I have no idea where this family name originated except maybe thru this Holley in Rhode Island. Any info would be appreciated and would be happy to share information.
Thanks,
Keri

No have not gotten out of country, in fact have only gotten back as far as Samuel b. 1733 in CT. But have gone pretty much across the US with them. Would be very interested to hear what you have.

Sorry for the delay. Moved and all was put away. This Charles lived in Minn., married a Elanora Spiess. They then moved to Ore. some years later. Had 2 sons George and Joseph. I am trying to find this lineage as Elanora(Leona) is from my line. Thank you and sorry for the delay.

Hi Nancy! I'm just now researching the Chappell line. I live in Rochester, and I'm pretty sure our line is with Nicholas and Mary. Oscar is my dad's greatgrandfather. We believe they were going back and forth from Rochester, NY to Greece, NY, and then Oscar was in Waterloo, NY for some time, and my dad's grandfather was George W. and lived and died in Waterloo. Any pictures/paperwork would be appreciated, as I have nothing from way back then.
