Hi Linda,
James and Mary Ann's son Aaron C. Claypole is my 2GGF.
I have a date of April 1866 for James Claypole's death, and 25 Jan 1892 for Mary Ann; she is buried in Black Oak cemetery, Grundy, MO. Her MI is transcribed here:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~mogrundy/cemetery/blackoak.html
At least I think it's her -- I would guess the "25 years" is a mistranscription for 65.
I'd be very interested in any old records of Mary Ann's line, and I'm happy to share what notes I have -- please email if you'd like me to send info.
Best,
Wes

Seeking any information on Wiley Chappell born about 1811, married Caroline Mulkey and settled in Texas. They had five children. There are many civil court documents on Wiley and son George Chappell in Washington and Lavaca County, Texas. Hope someone has some additional information. I am will to exchange information.
At this point I have not located parents of Wiley Chappell.

I have just started searching for long lost relatives on this site. Noone in my immediate family knows much as my grandmother (Joyce Agnes Hancox Chappell) was very private and secretive. I do know that she had a daughter by the name of Cynthia who was my sister's namesake. I have never met my grandmothers oldest daughter (Cynthia and Patricia)..if you think it could be the same one, please contact me crystal_ricky(a)hotmail.com
