Henry Lewis Chappell(1819-1878) married Elizabeth Haynes in1845 and in 1846 married Matilda Haynes presumably in or near Haynesville,MO located on the Clay-Clinton County MO county line A large cemetry is located there. Both men who married Henry Chappell to the Haynes sisters are buried in that cemetery--Jacob Brawner and George Huffaker. Not much is left of Haynesville, just the cemetery and some scattered houses. The railroad bypassed the village in the 1850s(?) and it's been dying eversince. Haynesville is located on I-35 north of Kansas City, MO 30 miles or so. Henry and Matilda Haynes Chappell are buried in separate cemeteries in Gentry County, MO. Where is Elizabeth (Henry's first wife) buried?

Hi. I don't have any William James Chappell, but I do have some William Chappell's without any information. Do you have any dates for your William James Chappell. Also I only have one Benoit, but that person, Julia married a McGlashing, but they did move to Massachussetts.

Found an entry in Maryland Marriages database about James K Chappell marrying an Eliza Merwin in 1826. I suspect that these are the parents of Samuel Merwin Chappell & his twin Anne b. 1832 & sister Julia b. 1834. Does anyone have any info on this family?

Do you know if Henry and Lenore Falkenhagen were related to the Saginaw Falkenhagen's? Saginaw and Bay City are very close togather. There were three Different Falkenhagen lines in Saginaw, 2 from Mecklenburg and 1 from Prussia.
