Does anyone have access to Charles City County, Virginia Wills & Deeds 1689, p. 79? I understand that Huldah, wife of Thomas Chappell II (son of Gravesend Thomas), is mentioned in that entry. If anyone could post a transcription of this entry it would be tremendously appreciated.
Thanks!

Greetings,
I am looking for information on Henrietta Plenty b. abt 1873.
In 1900 In Halifax Co. VA, Henrietta was a servant in the home of Edgar
Walker.
Henrietta had a daughter Annie b. abt 1895 living with her.
Henrietta m. Daniel Chappell, Nov 10, 1910 in Halifax County VA.
Here is some info I have:
In the 1870 Census, Halifax County, Roanoke, page 35, line 5,
Plenty, Henry 40y male Bl born VA
Plenty, Susan 35y female bl born VA
Plenty, Lewis 10y male bl born VA
Plenty, Abram 7y male bl born Va
Plenty, Charlotte 60y female bl born VA
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------
In the 1880 Census, Halifax County, ED 123,
Plenty, Henry head 50y old Widower
Plenty, Lewis son 20y
Plenty, Abraham Son 19y
Plenty, Samuel son 12y
Plenty, Isaac son 10y
Plenty, Henrietta dau 7y
Plenty, Sarah dau 6y
Plenty, Fannie dau 2y
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------
In the 1900 Census, Halifax County, Banister District, line 1,
I found:
Walker,-------Edgar---------head---white---male----dec
1866--33y--married-----3years---all---va
Sallie---f.-----wife-----white---female--apr--1870--30y--married----3years--
--2 children-1 alive
Louise--w----daughter--white--female--jan
--1899---1y--single
Plenty,--------Henrietta------servant--black---female--apl-1870--30y---wid--
----1 child----1 alive
Annie-----------her daughter--bl
Female--jan-1895--5y---single
Even though Henrietta apparently had a child before she m. Daniel Chappell,
Henrietta might not have married to the father of her child Annie..
I am told that it was a common practice for a widow to take back their
Maiden name after becoming a widow, so this may be why Henrietta was using
the Plenty name in 1900.
