Hi Joan/Patti!
The rejected files of Guion Miller Roll are on microfilm at the National
Archives Atlanta branch. We got copies of some of my Patterson line from
there that were rejected. None of my Chappell's had submitted claims. Mine
are out of NC/SC (Transylvania Co, NC; Pickens and Oconee Cos, SC). I think
it is about .25/page. My cousin went to the Archives in EAst Point, GA. You
have to have an appointment to get in the microfilm room, though. They will
also send copies. Check out the NARA page and it will give you addresses and
phone numbers and email addy's.

O'siyo to all,
On the Guion Miller Roll of INELIGIBLE People, I found what I believe to be
my son's great grandmother's name. It is listed as D.B. (could stand for
Docie Beatrice) CHAPPELL -- #14835/TN... Now, my question's are: there are
a couple other names with numbers close to the D.B. one and I would like to
know if that means they were family or what? One was a J.H. CHAPPELL --
#14834/TN and a JOS. A. CHAPPELL -- #14822 (Dup.? of the J.H. one). The
other one is:THOS.CHAPPEL -- #14821/TN.. One of the other questions is: how
do I get a copy of the "rejected" file and how much does it cost? Also,
could someone check on the Old Settlers and the Choctaw and I believe either
the Baker or Siler rolls for the name of DOCIE BEATRICE CHAPPELL? DOCIE
could probably be spelled DOSIE, or variations, but her family was supposed
to have been from the Bon Aqua, TN area and she married into the REDDEN,
John Wiley family around 1900. Any help will most appreciated. She's been
a "thorn in my side" for so many years, I'd really like to find out about
her. Wado in advance for any and all help.............Joan/Patti in MI
