I am looking for descendants of Richard CHAPPELL who married Eleanor
FERRIS in Helston Cornwall on 23 August 1772.
Children were Mary (chr 30 Oct 1775) Jane (chr 13 Nov 1776) William
(chr 8 Feb 1778) Richard (chr 30 Mar 1779) and Francis (chr 30 Mar
1779)
I am descended from Richard Jr and have that line fairly well
completed. I am looking for the other children.
I believe Wiliam married Ruth? and had at least three children. I
think he was buried in Helston 15 May 1840 age 62.
Mary married a Richards and one of her daughters married a Thomas.
My Richard married Mary Trelore(Treloar) 8 July 1815 and they had two
children. I come from their son Francis and that line is complete to
present.
However, they also had a daughter Caroline (chr 25 June 1820) that I
have no information about except that she may have married a LANYON.
Thank you for your time,
...Kathleen

Hi Larry,
I was just checking out the Ancestry Site and noticed in the free
database re WWI Civil War Draft Registrations that there are some
Afro-Americans with surname CHAPPELL. I have no idea if they might
be connected, but thought I'd pass it on.
The main site URL is: http://www.ancestry.com/ancestry/search.asp
Hope it helps
