Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I have several Chappels (varous spellings) in Indiana with quite a bit of
data and gravestone photos. The earliest were born in Maryland, then some in
North Carolina. The majority of them lived their entire lives in central Indiana.
I have no information that some of the family moved farther west but if you
get them back to Indiana, let me kow and I will share this information. Nancy

I have Chappels in Kansas. Miranda Read Chappel, mother,
George W., Mary, Nellie m. Risinger, Charles. Haven't done
much on George or Charles yet but know quite a bit about
Mary and Nellie.

Married, at the residence of John Kelsey in this city, by Rev. N. P. Tedrick, on Sunday morning, September 21st. 1884, J. E. Wright and Mattie B. Chappel. Mrs. Wright is a sister of Mrs. Kelsey, Mr. Wright is an industrious young farmer of Hayes township, where he and his bride will make their future home. The wedding was a very quiet affair and after the ceremony the happy pair left for their home.
