All I have is that Walter Anderson Chapman born ca.1810, Greene County,
Virginia., died ca 1877 Crawford County, MO. Married ca 1836, Green County,
Virginia. Was the son of John Chapman, plantation and slave owner, Greene
County, VA. From what I'm hearing is that Virginia was a lot larger then
than it is presently.
Also, Walter Anderson Chapman was married to Louisa Gray Saunders born 1812
Greene County, Virginia. Her mothers maiden name was Gray. Louisa had a
brother, John Saunders;
My Luther R. Chapman lived in Crawford County, Missouri in 1850 before that
he was in St. Francois County, Missouri. He was born prob in TN (By The
Census)born in 1822. Do you know where Walter was born? Anything on
Walter would help. Was he a carpenter? Was in St. Francois County,
Missouri in 1840 to 1844 like mine? I am connected for sure to Mary,
Calvin, Miles and John M. Chapman poss siblings to Luther.
Tell me more if you can.
