Dear John,
I recently saw your post on the Chapman rootsweb page. I have Chapmans from
Indiana, but unfortunately I haven't gotten quite as far back as you. I was
wondering if you could connect our two lines. I have a William J Chapman born 1851
in Indianapolis, Indiana. He married Ella Bradford. Williams parents were T.S.
Chapman and Mary Brown. If any of this is familiar to you, please let me know!!!
Thanks Pam.

I am trying to find the parents of John CHAPMAN born 11-Feb-1791 in VA,
died 23-Jan-1876 in Louisa Co, IA. John married Mary REEVES on
13-Aug-1815 in Scioto Co, OH. John and Mary were married by Mary's
father Gabiel REEVE. John was possibly a physician, he was listed as a
retired physician on the 1870 Census, but a day laborer on the 1860
Census. John and Mary's children are Pheby Jane(4-Sep-1816), John R, Jr
(4-Mar-1818), Allen and Albert twins(6-Nov-1819),
Mallissa(12-Sep-1821), Alfred(26-Jun-1824), Sarah Ann(20-Jan-1826),
