Tracy,
Are you familiar with a John Wilbur Chapman, b.1859 in Richmond, IN? His
parents were Alexander H. and Lorinda Chapman. If you are related to this
line, please email me. I saw a picture of John Wilbur Chapman for the first
time this year, and I thought I was looking at a photograph of my father,
Wilbur Charles Chapman, b.1910 in Tipton County, TN. It was spooky! My
guess is that Alexander H. Chapman and my gggrandfather, Francis Marion
Chapman, b.1819 in NC, were somehow related.
If you aren't descended from Alexander H. Chapman, you now know of another
Alexander Chapman living in Indiana about the same time as yours.
Thanks,
Gary W. Chapman

I have an Alexander CHAPMAN (my 3rd ggrandfather) b. ca. 1825 (prob.
IN),
md. Eliza(beth) Ann CAMERON; I have yet to find another Alexander, or get
beyond mine. Do you know if this family migrated west to IN?
Thanks.
