31. Robert MILLER2 was born in 1791. He died in 1855. Born on the
family
farm started by his grandparents, Robert Jr. & Margaret Maupin in
1777
near Stanardsville, VA (who moved there from Whitehall, Albemarle
Co.
VA adjoining Daniel Maupin's farm) and lived there all of his life
where he operated a tavern about one mile east of town on the
Spottswood Trail (US 33). He was buried in the family cemetery on
the
farm with many other Miller's.
He was married to Ann Buford CHAPMAN-JENNINGS (daughter of Capt.
William A. CHAPMAN and Mary BUFORD) on 6 Jan 1816. Robert MILLER
and
Ann Buford CHAPMAN-JENNINGS had the following children:
41 i. John Alexander MILLER was born about 1816.
42 ii. James MILLER.
43 iii. Simeon MILLER.
44 iv. William MILLER.
45 v. Houseworth MILLER.
46 vi. Robert MILLER.
47 vii. Lucretia MILLER.
32. James Kirtley MILLER was born about 1800.
He was married to Mary Susan JENNINGS (daughter of Berryman
JENNINGS, JR and Ann Buford CHAPMAN-JENNINGS) on 18 Jun 1831. Mary
Susan JENNINGS was born about 1811. She died before 1843. James
Kirtley MILLER and Mary Susan JENNINGS had the following children:
+48 i. Thomas Alexander MILLER.
He was married to Martha SYLVIA on 29 Jul 1843.
