Mari:
Sorry for the confusion. From your message I took it that someone was
saying that the FBI was setting up an emergency e-mail list in case of
disaster and we were being asked to sign on! I went to the FBI web site,
passed the information on the fugitives and found nothing about any
emergency e-mail network. I guess it was all just too vague for me. My
apologies! Actually I knew you would not send anything you did not feel was
legitimate, but I have been taken one too many times not to check everything
out myself!!! This time I sure do represent the quote from the Duke below.
Happy New Year to all.

No, George, it IS legit!
I don't post anything here w/o checking it out, in the first place. That
includes virus warnings.
I subscribe to an emergency newsletter because my husband needs to have
the
information for work. Mostly for the weather, but this type of thing
is
also included.
If you will go to this url:
http://www.emergencyemail.org/terrorinfo.asp?src=tr02
you will see that it is a bonefide newsletter
Also check out the links at the very bottom. This is a free public
emergency newsletter.
I'm VERY careful about sending any kind of warnings....especially to my
mailing lists.
Take it however you want, but it isn't a scam!
