Joseph Chapman, is buried in Black pond Cemetery, in Windsor, NH. as are
several of his descendants. Others in this line are buried in Hillsborough
and Deering, NH.
According to a listing in "Inhabitants of New Hampshire 1776 by Emily s.
Wilson, published by Hunterdon House, Lambert, NJ there were 13 males with
the name Chapman living in the state at that time. My Joseph was one of
two, one listed in Londonderry and the other in New Market. According to
family records the one from Londonderry is my ancestor.

Thank You,George.
I was searching the archives and found this. I'm posting it just incase
it
may help you or others.
According to volume one of "Abstracts of Graves of Revolutionary
Patriots" a Joseph Chapman is buried in the family plot in the Windsor
Cemetery.
According to the Town Clerk of Windsor, Vermont, there is no Joseph
Chapman buried in Windsor Cemetery.
Does anyone know of another Windsor Cemetery in that area?

Joyce:
Windsor, NH is bounded by Hillsborough, Washington, Stoddard and Marlow in
the western part of the state, originally called Campbell's Gore.
